I dug Jagged Little Pill to death too, but wasn't quite so angsty at the time. I don't think it's quite so embarrassing to still listen to it.
I'd kinda forgotten about Alanis until just a few days ago when I saw her on 'live at Abbey Rd' and I thought the exact same things about her acoustic versions. She's gained a real subtlety now that she's not singing through clenched teeth anymore.
